Wood Colour:

  • Over time, wood's appearance can change a little, this is affected by several factors like the type of wood, how much exposure to direct sunlight it gets, and what kind of sealant was used.
  • If you want your wooden homeware to look its best, try to keep it out of direct sunlight, or rotate it to avoid one side changing colour faster than the other.
  • You can also re-coat wood with a wood sealant to maintain the vibrancy and keep it looking fresh as day 1.
  • If you would like to do so, we recommend resealing the wood about once every 2 years or so, provided it is not getting washed daily (eg like a kitchenware item might). For homeware like deskware, vanity trays etc, you do not need to reseal it. I
